01 — the print

Built the way he was drawn: one pixel-thin layer at a time.

He prints lying on his back, so every edge comes out crisp and there's nothing to snap off. Then we flip him onto his four legs, sand the brim, and check that he doesn't wobble.

Mostly solid: thick walls with a gyroid core. He has a satisfying weight and won't slide around your desk.

    
Will I see layer lines?+
Up close, faintly, on the sides. That's the charm of a real print. The front face is the top of the print, so it comes out smooth.
